Shalom Lichtenstein, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a double board-certified nurse practitioner who recently joined the CHEMED psychiatric team. He completed his nursing degree at Downstate Medical Center, earned his Family Nurse Practitioner credential at Pace University, and later completed his PMHNP post-master’s at Wilkes University.
Over the course of his career, Shalom has developed a broad and progressive clinical background spanning pediatrics, family medicine, and behavioral health. He began his work in pediatric care and steadily expanded his practice, accumulating extensive experience managing complex patients across the lifespan in both primary care and specialty settings. His longstanding involvement in family practice and mental health positioned him to provide integrated, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care to diverse communities.
Shalom brings a seasoned, multidisciplinary perspective to psychiatric practice, drawing upon years of frontline clinical work, collaborative care experience, and a commitment to innovative approaches. He is also an early adopter of AI technologies that enhance clinical decision-making, workflow efficiency, and the overall patient experience.
