Dr. Dovid Friedman - CEO
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Dovid Friedman, CEO brings a wealth of experience to CHEMED. His twenty years in community health care internationally includes both clinical and administrative work as a family practice physician and as a Regional Chief Physician and Chief Medical Administrator in Israel. While serving as Physician Executive at Henry Schein, Inc. and Medical Director at Monarch Medical International, Dr. Friedman focused on Electronic Medical Records workflow and patient safety. He is a member of American Health Care Executives (ACHE), a Board member of the New Jersey Primary Care Association (NJPCA) and member of the Lakewood Complete Count and Complete Town Committee.

Barry Kohn, MD, Ph.D. - Medical Director
Dr. Kohn comes to CHEMED from fourteen years as a Medical Director at Emblem Health (formerly HIP Health Plan). Dr. Kohn’s focus has been on quality control and disease prevention and his experience includes the management of case management and disease management services. Prior to his joining HIP, Dr. Kohn had a private practice in Internal Medicine and gastroenterology for 14 years. Dr. Kohn received his MD from the State University of New York Medical School and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the City University of New York with a masters in chemistry from Columbia University.

Dr. Joseph Tricarico - Dental Director
Before joining CHEMED, Dr. Tricarico served as a dental consultant and professor. He was the Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services for seven years. Dr. Tricarico also directed the N.J. Office of Emergency Medical services and the Office of Public Health Infrastructure. Dr. Tricarico received his DMD (Doctorate of Dental Medicine) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey; and a JD (Juris Doctorate) from Seton Hall Law School. He received a B.A in microbiology and public health from Rutgers University. He holds both New Jersey and New York dental licenses.
